Ghostrunner - Project Hel

505 Games has announced a paid expansion for Ghostrunner called Project_Hel, slated to release on January 27th 2022 for $14.99. It sees players controlling Hel, a boss from the base game who descends Dharma Tower for her own purpose. Though meant to be a smaller DLC, Project_Hel evolved into a “full-blown Ghostrunner experience.”

The expansion includes six levels and Hel has her own abilities to unlock. Along with being more combat-focused, the biggest difference in her playstyle is that she can survive an additional attack. New enemies and bosses along with six new tracks by Daniel Deluxe can also be expected. A private beta is slated for later this year with selected participants having their name included in the expansion’s credits.

Aside from Project_Hel, Ghostrunner will receive a free Holiday Pack on December 7th which adds the Rudolph’s Run and Boon swords, the Solstice katana and the Nini Wonderland blade. Each comes with its own special glove as well. Stay tuned for more details on the expansion in the coming weeks. Ghostrunner is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch – check out our review here for more details.
