Death Stranding Director’s Cut Releases in Spring 2022 for Steam, Epic Games Store

Along with supporting Intel's XeSS upscaling technology, it will include a High Frame Rate Mode and Ultrawide monitor support on PC.

As rumored recently, Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PC. According to publisher 505 Games on Twitter, it will launch for both Steam and the Epic Games Store in Spring 2022. Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) upscaling technology is also being supported.

In addition to all of the new content and features, the PC version will feature a High Frame Rate Mode and Ultrawide monitor support. Photo Mode is also included along with crossover content for Valve’s Half-Life series and CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. Everyone who purchases the game will also receive the following bonuses:

  • “Selections From ‘The Art of DEATH STRANDING’” Digital Book (by Titan Books)
  • Backpack Patches
  • Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Gold)
  • BB pod customization (Chiral Gold)
  • Power Gloves (Gold)
  • Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Silver)

  • Power Gloves (Silver)

System requirements and pricing have yet to be detailed so stay tuned for more details in the coming months. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is already available for PS5 but PS4 owners could upgrade for $10 to the Digital Deluxe Edition of the same. It remains to be seen whether current owners of the base PC version will be able to avail of a similar offer.
