Techland has been frequently updating Dying Light 2 Stay Human and releasing bite-sized content drops for it since its launch, but of course, there are plenty of features and improvements that the open world action RPG’s player base is still hoping to see. Many of those, it seems are in the works.
In an interview with Game Informer, when asked about a photo mode, a new game plus mode, and additional difficulty options, Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s lead game designer Tymon Smektała said that those features are currently in the works and will start arriving in the game in the near future.
“Those are definitely things that are on the table currently and that are being worked on,” he said. “I don’t want to go into too many specifics here… but very soon, people will start seeing those things being added in one form or another into the game.
Just earlier this month, Techland said it was “seriously thinking” about adding a new game plus mode to the game, so this doesn’t come as too much of a surprise.
In this same interview, Smektała also talked about Dying Light 2’s upcoming first expansion, confirming that it won’t take place after the base game’s events, instead being set set “sideways to the main events”. Read more on that through here.
