Famitsu has released its latest weekly charts for the most highly anticipated upcoming games, as voted by its readers, and unsurprisingly, Final Fantasy 16 rules the roost once more. The upcoming PS5 exclusive RPG has been on top of these charts for a number of weeks, a once again maintains a healthy lead over Bayonetta 3, the game placed second.
Also unsurprising is the fact that the vast majority of the top 10 is dominated by upcoming Switch releases, barring the aforementioned Final Fantasy 16 and the PS5 version of Pragmata at No. 8. Splatoon 3 – which is supposedly due out this year – takes No. 3, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel – which recently got delayed to Spring 2023 – comes in at No. 4.
Meanwhile, the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the upcoming HD-2D LIVE A LIVE remake, and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak figure into the charts as well.
