Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Capcom’s RPG Monster Hunter Rise has no plans of slowing down its momentum, as the upcoming DLC for the game, Sunbreak, plans on providing more monster hunting goodness to the fans of the series this summer. With the release date of the DLC creeping closer, its developers have shared new info, showcasing one of the new monsters and one of the new locations in the expansion with a couple of new videos.

The first video gives us a small tour of an upcoming new location in Sunbreak. Called the Citadel, it will be one of the key locations in the expansion, where players can venture out for new Master Rank Quests, containing unique flora and fauna alongside castle ruins and overrun by nature and dangerous monsters. Additionally, the Citadel also features a variety of biomes, ranging from swamps to snowy lands.

The second video showcases the actual gameplay of one of the new monsters joining the game: Garangolm. A beast with a rigid body, the Garangolm relies on brute strength, using elemental attacks against the players when enraged, covering itself with magma and moss to deal fire and water elemental damage to players.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak releases on June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC.
