Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise is getting even bigger this Summer with the release of Sunbreak, which adds new areas, weapons, armor and monsters. One of those monsters is Lunagaron, the so-called “Ice Wolf Dragon” that’s accustomed to traveling great distances. A new clip on Monster Hunter Rise Japan’s Twitter showcases it in action – check it out below (translations via DeepL).
Lunagaron’s “true form” manifests when it walks around on its two hind legs. Its main attacks involve ripping enemies apart with its claws, not unlike Odogaron. Fortunately, players will have Master Rank armor and weapons to even the odds.
Another tweet showcases some of the Master Rank equipment that can be earned when Sunbreak arrives. It’s not just new monsters either – MR armor and weapons for Somnacanth and Goss Harag can be spotted as well. Be careful though as Master Rank versions of existing monsters will have new attacks.
