Final Fantasy 16 Tops Famitsu’s Most Wanted Charts Yet Again

Meanwhile, Pokemon Scarlet and Violent come in at the tail end of what's a very Nintendo Switch-dominated top 10.

Famitsu has released its latest weekly charts for the most highly anticipated upcoming games, as voted by its readers, and there aren’t a lot of surprises in here. Final Fantasy 16 was on top of the charts last week, and a number of weeks before that, and it’s in pole position in the newest charts as well. Other than Square Enix’s RPG, however, every other game in the top 10 is a Switch release.

Bayonetta 3 is still in second position as well, while Xenoblade Chronicles 3 falls down to No. 6. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel has climbed to No. 3, Dragon Quest 10 Offline jumps to No. 4, and Splatoon 3 hangs on to the fifth position. A new entry in the charts is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, with the duo coming in at the tail end of the charts at No. 10. Finally, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak at No. 7, Ushiro at No. 8, and LIVE A LIVE at No. 9 round up the top 10.
