Rumors are indicating that Ubisoft’s upcoming Avatar game—Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora—is set to release on November 18. The release date comes courtesy of a report on Exputer by prominent insider Tom Henderson, who cites sources indicating the November 18 launch.

The rumored November 18 launch places Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora squarely in the midst of other major gaming releases, and falls in line with Ubisoft’s earnings reports for the last financial year, where the company reiterated that it will be launched before the end of the current financial year on March 31, 2023.

Its release window also falls quite close to the release date of the next Avatar movie—Avatar: The Way of Water—which is set for a December release.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is set to come out on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The choice of only including current-gen platforms is likely to keep in line with a prior statement by director of programming Nikolay Stefanov who said that the game will make ray tracing mandatory on all platform it is playable on.

This statement also indicates that a ray tracing-capable graphics card will be a minimum requirement to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on PC.
