Halo fans have been waiting for campaign co-op to be introduced in Halo Infinite for quite some time now, and the fact that it has been delayed a couple of times hasn’t exactly made the wait any easier. Recently 343 Industries said that the campaign co-op beta would finally begin in the week of July 11, but we’re past that date now, and the wait continues. So where is it?

Well, it’s coming. Brian Jarrard, community director of Halo at 343 Industries, recently took to Twitter and clarified that the plan was always to launch the co-op fligh in the week of July 11, not on July 11 itself. Apparently, 343 Industries has discovered some issues with the build that it’s working on addressing, but the plan is still to launch the beta this week itself. Whether that plan changes remains to be seen, but if things go to plan, it won’t be a very long wait.

Another major Halo mode that was missing from Halo Infinite at launch, Forge, will also be launching in beta sometime in September. A recent leak provided new details and glimpses of Forge mode- read more on that through here.

Halo Infinite is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
