Atlus continues to market Soul Hackers 2 in baffling fashion, but at least part of that is something that those excited about the game can look forward to. The developer has been releasing regular videos in its Summoners Guide series, doing deep dives into various gameplay features and mechanics with each new video. The sixth and final Summoners Guide video is out now as well, and it focuses on various things including New Game Plus, the many difficulty options on offer in the game, and more.

New Game Plus in Soul Hackers 2 will let players decide specific things to carry over from a finished save, and will also feature new side quests and fights against more difficult enemies, along with new personal events. Meanwhile, the base experience will offer three difficulty levels- Easy, Normal, and Hard. A Very Hard will be added after launch as free DLC.

The video also provides new details on some other features and mechanics in the game, including Safe Houses, where players can have meals with different characters, which, in turn, provide unique buffs. Various shops in the game are also shown off, with some details on the different things players will be able to purchase from them.

You can check out the video below for more details. The video is in Japanese, but it does have English subtitles, so make sure to turn on closed captions.

Soul Hackers 2 launches on August 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the game’s PC requirements through here.
