It’s still more than two months away from release, but WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights has gone gold. Along with being sent for certification on digital storefronts, it’s also undergoing manufacturing for physical copies.

While going “gold” means that principle development has wrapped, a day one patch seems a given. Originally announced at DC FanDome in August 2020, Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG with co-op and stars four heroes – Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and Robin. Batman is seemingly dead, and while the city’s villains are taking advantage, the mysterious Court of Owls lurks in the background.

Though slated to release in 2021, Gotham Knights was delayed to this year. It launches on October 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC (with the Xbox One and PS4 versions cancelled). Check out the latest gameplay here, which showcases two different high-level builds for Red Hood. More details on the different skill trees are coming later this week so stay tuned.
