In terms of exploration, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope seems like a step up from what was offered in its predecessor. Players can freely explore its levels, even unlocking hidden paths and finding unique rewards in the process.

Ubisoft recently confirmed its plans for post-launch content for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The game is set to get 3 major DLC releases, and Ubisoft has also stated that the third DLC for the game will feature Rayman as a playable character.

Ubisoft also showed off quite a bit of gameplay during its showcase, showing off a new planet, plenty of combat and exploration, as well as a boss fight against a Wiggler.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 20.
