Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Season Pass 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release Announced for 2023

The first new DLC part of Season Pass 2 for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will revolve around Goku's father Bardock, adapting the Bardock: Father of Goku TV special.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Comparison

Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be getting a second Season Pass, featuring three new story DLC. The publisher has also revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The new-gen versions and Season Pass 2 are both set to release in 2023.

The first DLC part of Season Pass 2 has been revealed. Starring Goku’s father Bardock, the DLC is titled Additional Scenario: -Bardock- Alone Against Fate. Bandai Namco has stated that the DLC is set to be a “complete reproduction” of the Bardock: Father of Goku TV special. Check out the teaser for the DLC below.

While not too many details on what enhancements the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be getting, Bandai Namco has released a comparison screenshot between the PS4 and Xbox One versions against the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. Going by the comparison, it looks like the new versions will feature better lighting, more colourful foliage, and maybe even volumetric fog, among other likely features.
