call of duty warzone 2.0

Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is live along with Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, the newest iteration of the free-to-play battle royale. Infinity Ward has detailed patch notes for new features, balance changes, and the new Battle Pass debuting with both titles. To start with, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat is now available in Warzone 2.0 and DMZ (it’s already available in Modern Warfare 2).

The Battle Pass presents over 100 Tiers of content to unlock, but with a new map-based format for more “personalized progression.” Don’t worry – you can still purchase Tier Skips to pay progress through it.

In terms of new weapons, there’s the BAS-P Submachine Gun, Victus XMR Sniper Rifle and M13B Assault Rifle. In terms of weapon balancing, the long-distance flinch on Assault Rifles has been increased. The Kastov 545 has seen its ADS speed increase and ADS ironsight picture improve. Meanwhile, the Kastov-74u has seen increases in ADS speed and hip spread.

Check out some of the patch notes below and the full notes here. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 are available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our review of the former
