Capcom has released some new character guide videos for Street Fighter 6, focusing on series veteran Ryu and newcomer Kimberly. They’re short but outline how to play each character and their ideal situations. Check them out below.
As in previous games, Ryu is easy to pick up yet difficult to master, presenting a good balance of offense and defense. He can check opponents on the ground with Hadouken, counter air attacks with Shoryuken and execute some decent combos. Kimberly is more of a speedster, confounding an opponent while closing in with quick attacks. A good opener is Shuriken Bomb, a delayed explosive projectile.
Street Fighter 6 is out on June 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4 and PC. There will be an open beta from May 19th to 21st, which features online match support and the Battle Hub. It features eight playable characters, a step up from the current demo’s four. In the meantime, check out the previous character guide for Luke.
