Recently at ChinaJoy 2023, Sony and UltiZero Games showed off a new trailer for upcoming action RPG Lost Soul Aside, confirming a PC version of the game and cancelling its PS4 release. In addition, meaty new gameplay footage for the game has also emerged.
Showcased as part of a stage presentation at ChinaJoy 2023, Lost Soul Aside revealed over 20 minutes of new gameplay footage, offering another look at its Devil May Cry-inspired high-octane combat and its Final Fantasy 15-inspired science-fantasy setting.
The combat continues to look promising, blending elements of character action systems in fast-paced battles, while the demonstration also offered looks at a couple of boss fights, some cutscenes, and a cinematic set-piece sequence where the protagonist acrobatically makes his way through crumbling structures while being fired on by enemies. Lost Soul Aside is in development for PS5 and PC. It doesn’t yet have a release date.
