Bungie’s big showcase for Destiny 2 is happening today at 9 AM PST, and it will reveal more details on its next expansion, The Final Shape and Season 22. The latter should go live later today, and in a recent article, the developer outlined the Artifact Perks that players can expect.
The Anti-Champion Perks are Anti-Barrier Auto Rifle and Piercing Bowstring, Unstoppable Scout Rifle and Fusion, and Overload Hand Cannon and Machine Gun. Siphon Combo mods for Arc/Strand, Solar/Strand and Void/Strand are also included, in addition to Perks that improve Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Unsated Hunger and the Season 22 Origin Traits.
It’s the Elemental Orbs for Solar, Void and Arc, that are most interesting. Weapon final blows with these elements and their corresponding subclass will spawn an Elemental Orb with different explosive properties. Void Orbs render enemies Volatile, Arc Orbs jolt enemies, and Solar Orbs will scorch targets while also dealing damage.
