Destiny 2 - The Final Shape

Bungie kicked off its Destiny 2 Showcase with a new trailer for The Final Shape. The expansion launches on February 27th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. It’s the final chapter in the Light and Darkness saga, with players venturing into the Traveler. Check it out below.

To be more specific, players enter The Pale Heart of the Traveler. The Witness is inside, trying to use the Light to enact the Final Shape – a frozen state of the universe with unchanging perfection. The world contains several callbacks to previous locations that the player has visited, viewed through the eyes of the trailer, including the classic Tower.

It’s the first linear destination in the franchise, and there are new enemies in the form of Subjugators who wield Strand and Stasis. Finishing the campaign opens up the entire destination for exploration, but you’ll need to play the raid to confront The Witness. Stay tuned for more details on the expansion shortly.
