Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Showcases Brutal New Abilities for Gorilla Arms, Mantis Blades, and More

With the upcoming expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 will allow players to unleash even more gruesome melee abilities.

Later this week, CD Projekt RED will be revealing new details on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty in a new episode of Night City Wire, but ahead of that, the developer is, of course, continuing to ramp up the excitement surrounding the expansion’s imminent launch with smaller tidbits.

Taking to Twitter, CD Projekt RED recently published a brief clip that showcases some brutal new abilities that you’ll be able to unleash using some of your melee cyberware. With the Gorilla Arms, for instance, you can literally smash an enemy’s head into tiny little bits, while the Mantis Blades can now set people on fire while slashing them to ribbons. Then there’s the Monowire, which is deadlier with its cutting slices, while the Projectile Launch System, which lets you shoot out devastating missiles at foes from your arm canon. Last week, CDPR also showcased some of the many new weapons that are being added to Cyberpunk 2077 with the upcoming Update 2.0.
