The official website for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, RGG Studio’s next mainline entry for the franchise, has been updated with new details. It discusses the Dungeons that players will venture to, both in Hawaii and Yokohama, which serve as “the strongholds of various ruffians” (translation via DeepL).

Protagonist Ichiban Kasuga and allies venture into a Dungeon for the first time while trying to save some missing people. The structure and enemies inside change with each run, and players can discover “rare treasures and enhanced items.”

Other interesting details include the further evolution of Delivery Help, the game’s term for summons. Instead of landing a big move and retreating, they’ll stay on the battlefield and help for multiple turns. As players progress through the sub-stories, more summons can be recruited.

Finally, you can craft weapons as before and strengthen them. A new Imprint feature allows for adding special effects. There are over 140 new weapon types, and since crafted weapons aren’t available at vendors, diving into the crafting system for a quick boost is recommended.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches on January 26th, 2024, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Head here for new details on the mini-games, Arcade titles and more.
