Tekken 8 - Kuma

The Tekken series is known for all kinds of fighters, from devils to cyborgs, so it only makes sense for a bear to practice martial arts. Bandai Namco’s latest trailer for Tekken 8 highlights Kuma, raised by Heihachi Mishima. Utilizing Kuma Shinken and even parts of Heihachi’s fighting style, he’s a force to reckon with.

Along with a unique hitbox that makes it tougher for opponents to land hits, Kuma has good punching range and can punish whiffed attacks. He can also enter Hunting Bear Stance for more damage. While having weaker kicks, Kuma offers a unique play style among the cast.

Tekken 8 launches on January 26th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. A free demo is live for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, which offers a look at Story Mode, Arcade Quest, and Versus. It includes four playable fighters – Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina Williams – and three stages. Stay tuned for more details leading up to its release.
