New hands-on impressions and gameplay for RGG Studio’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth went live yesterday, showcasing almost everything players can do. From the Pokemon-esque Sujimon to the revamped Delivery Help Summons, there’s a lot to check out, courtesy of Famitsu and 4Gamer.

The combat remains turn-based, but this time, players can take advantage of improvements like characters moving around during battle for easier combos. There are also new area-of-effect attacks, improved knockback strikes, combo attacks and extra hits on Perfect Attacks. One of the better quality-of-life features is Smackdown to annihilate weaker foes to earn money and items quickly.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Ichiban Kasuga adventure without ridiculous boss fights. Spoilers for those who want to go in blind, but they’re over-the-top, sticking to the RPG fantasy approach of the previous game.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches January 26th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Unlike Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, it won’t be available on Game Pass.
