With all the news surrounding FromSoftware’s Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, one major announcement lay in Bandai Namco’s official press release. It announced that the open-world Souls-like action RPG had shipped over 23 million units worldwide since launching in February 2022. The figures include physical shipments and digital sales (Steam included)
The last sales milestone was in May 2023, with 20.5 million units sold, meaning over 2.5 million units have been shipped and sold digitally in the past nine months. Elden Ring is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here.
Shadow of the Erdtree arrives on the same platforms, retailing for $39.99 when it launches on June 21st (Deluxe and Collector’s Editions are also available to pre-order). It sees players venturing to the Land of Shadow, the first that Marika set foot on, at the behest of Empyrean Miquella and following in his footsteps.
