Datamining leaks and teases within the game itself had indicated that Persona 3 Reload would be getting a major expansion that would bring Persona 3 FES’ sizeable story episode, The Answer, to the game, and that has now been officially confirmed.

At the recent Xbox Partner Preview, Atlus unveiled Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer-. The expansion will put players in the shoes of the android Aigis, who, after the events of the base game, will journey through the Abyss of Time with her fellow S.E.E.S. members in order to break out of a mysterious time loop.

Atlus has also confirmed that, as suggested by recent datamining leaks, the expansion will be part of a larger Expansion Pass, which will bring three waves of DLC. The first wave, arriving on March 12, will bring music tracks from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal, while the second wave, due out in May, will bring more new music and new Velvet Room-themed costumes.

Finally, the third wave will see the launch of Episode Aigis – The Answer- in September.

“Persona 3 Reload would not be complete without Episode Aigis -The Answer-,” said general producer Kazuhisa Wada in a post on Xbox Wire. “The epilogue is sure to satisfy both those who have played the original Persona 3 FES and those who are just starting out. The Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass will be available on March 12th.  Episode Aigis -The Answer-, the third and final DLC wave, will be available in September. We hope you enjoy the first and second DLC waves as you wait for Episode Aigis -The Answer-.”

Persona 3 Reload is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It sold 1 million units in its first week, becoming Atlus’ biggest launch to date.
