V Rising

After almost two years in early access, Stunlock Studios’ V Rising will launch for PC on May 8th. It’s also coming to PS5 later this year. Check out the animated release date announcement trailer below, courtesy of IGN.

V Rising sees players controlling a vampire who’s awoken after centuries. The world is teeming with humans and other creatures, so you’re goal is to seek shelter and spread terror. Players can utilize different weapon types and vampiric powers, take on multiple bosses and craft all kinds of structures. Combat is very action RPG-esque with a variety of builds to pursue.

While you could play solo, co-op is also supported. You can also play in worlds where multiple vampires compete over land and raid opposing castles. V Rising has sold 2.5 million copies as of August 2022 and has received new content during its early access period. Stay tuned for more details on 1.0 and what it has to offer.
