Destiny 2 - Zero Hour

Bungie held its third developer livestream for Destiny 2: Into the Light recently, confirming other features and content arriving with the free update. Perhaps the most notable is the return of two beloved Exotic missions – The Whisper and Zero Hour. Players will receive craftable versions of Whisper of the Worm and Outbreak Perfected for completing these.

The Whisper is available with Into the Light on April 9th, while Zero Hour arrives in May. The former features changes to its boss fight and now has a 40-minute timer (likely on Normal difficulty). Some craftable perks for Whisper of the Worm include Mulligan, Field Prep, No Distractions and Enlightened, with the weapon having more ammo reserves.

As for Zero Hero, it’s seen some changes, like the opening section having a Fallen Brig. The boss fight has also seen some changes which weren’t shown. It’s worth noting that Normal difficulty takes 40 minutes while Legend difficulty is 20 minutes, so expect The Whisper to follow the same format. As for Outbreak Perfected perks, there’s Outlaw, Rapid Hit, Rewind Rounds and Headseeker. Both weapons also get different stock and barrel options.

If that weren’t enough, the Thousand Wings and Scrap CF-717-91 ships have brand new looks more befitting of the missions. Stay tuned for more details for Destiny 2: Into the Light when it launches on April 9th.
