Destiny 2 - The Final Shape_05

With all Prismatic has to offer in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, it can get a little overwhelming to select a viable build. Fortunately, some notable options have become apparent, whether you’re looking to lock down an area with turrets or melee enemies into oblivion. Check out three of our picks for the best Prismatic builds.

Best Prismatic Builds

Turret Bot Warlock

Getaway Artist, Storm Grenade and Bleakwatcher. Consume your grenade and let the Stasis turret and Sentient Arc Soul go to town. Get your grenade back almost instantly. Repeat. You’ll want Feed the Void for Devour to proc health regeneration on any ability kills (which includes your turrets). Getting the seasonal perk on the artifact for damage reduction while Amplified is also pretty great. Otherwise, everything else is up to you.

Choose Facet of Bravery to grant Unraveling Rounds to a Strand weapon with powered melee final blows. Arcane Needles are ideal, but you can also equip Incinerator Snap to proc Radiant. Facet of Courage causes frozen targets to take more damage from Light abilities, while Facet of Balance builds up Transcendence quicker. Go with Song of Flame for strong mob and single-target damage.

Combination Blow Hunter

Utilizes Combination Blow for clearing out enemies. Use Stylish Executioner to turn invisible after killing debuffed enemies (which Duskfield Grenade and Winter’s Shroud should consistently enable). The next melee attack while invisible Weakens enemies, further increasing damage dealt, while Facet of Courage further increases damage to Darkness-debuffed targets.

You could also equip the Facet of Dawn for Radiant, the Facet of Balance for melee energy after defeating targets with Light damage, or the Facet of Protection for damage reduction when surrounded by enemies.

A One-Two Punch Shotgun is a must, though Liar’s Handshake as an Exotic gear piece might be iffy since it triggers after using your powered Arc melee or when you’ve been meleed. An Exotic Class item with Spirit of Synthoceps will deal less damage but provide more consistency. Alternatively, you can forgo Cross Counter and equip Celestial Nighthawk for that ever-so-desirable precision nuke DPS.

Consecration Titan

This build is centred around Consecration, already a top-tier melee damage option for Solar Titans. You also gain 25 percent damage resistance, which pairs nicely with Facet of Protection when in the thick of things, while Scorching and igniting targets. Frenzied Blade is useful to Sever enemies, reducing their damage dealt. Best of all, the three charges mean more Consecration usage.

Pair this with Knockout for even more melee damage to targets below 30 percent HP, healing on kill and Amplified for damage reduction via the seasonal artifact. Toss on some Synthoceps for even more melee and Super damage. Shackle Grenade will suspend targets, buying some time to close the distance, while Facet of Purpose grants buffs on your Super element.

Go with Bladefury for Woven Mail or Twilight Arsenal for Void Overshield. Facet of Balance is ideal for regenerating melee energy and Facet of Courage for more damage against Darkness-debuffed targets.
