After promising a presentation with bigger announcements for the Metal Gear franchise, Konami has announced a Metal Gear – Production Hotline 01 for today at 8 PM JST/4 AM PST. The announcement tweet (translated via DeepL) says it will provide the latest information about the series from the producers.
It will be available on YouTube and Twitter, with the former having English subtitles. The last Hotline video saw Konami revealing the title screen for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and an upcoming update for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1.
Of course, there have been several other announcements since then, from the recent gameplay reveal of Delta: Snake Eater to its various new features (which you can read about here). Perhaps Konami will finally announce the release window, though rumors claim the remake may be out next year. Stay tuned for more details when the Production Hotline goes live later today.
