EA Sports has released a new deep dive trailer for Madden NFL 25, outlining various changes coming to this year’s iteration. The NFL Draft now promises to be more immersive, with cutscenes featuring the commissioner on stage. Players can now view the Draft Prospect board, which updates in real-time, and sort players and see their projections. They also get more in-depth analysis during and after the draft.

There are also new personality management and storylines, as coaches deal with real-world issues like trade rumors, off-season workouts and defining the team culture. You’ll need to consider players’ actions and what they need while making promises. Fulfilling them provides season-long boosts to stats like pursuit and play recognition on defense and carrying on offense. Break them, and Morale falls. Storylines can last for seasons, adding some much-needed drama.

The Team Builder also debuts this year and allows for crafting a roster from the ground up. Share them online with other players or download others for Franchise Mode. Franchise Mode also has over 1400 more team and rookie records this year, alongside Franchise Central, a home base with streamlined league creation and a personalized message system.

Other new features include female models for Create A Coach, faster progression for the younger players, new storyline environments, new turnover celebrations, overhauled Superbowl celebrations and more than 1000 on-field sound effects. Even the crowd audio is from NFL films for more authenticity.

Madden NFL 25 launches on August 16th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
