Atlus promised a surprise for Persona 3 Reload’s story expansion, Episode Aigis – The Answer, at Gamescom Opening Night Live. To say it delivered would be an understatement, with the announcement of Joker from Persona 5 appearing in a Challenge Battle. Check it out below.
Alongside his signature Persona Arsene, Joker can channel Sataniel to deliver extensive damage. Considering that protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4 appeared in Persona 5 Royal as Challenge Battles, seeing the leader of the Phantom Thieves showcasing his mettle feels appropriate.
Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis – The Answer launches on September 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The story follows the conclusion of the base game, but due to mysterious circumstances, the S.E.E.S. is trapped in a time loop. It’s up to Aigis to venture into the Abyss of Time and set things right.
While the story remains the same, Episode Aigis – The Answer features new Linked Episodes for allies, the option to choose from five difficulty settings (with Heartless being new), and track remixes.
