For Like a Dragon fans, there’s never any shortage of things to look forward to, and though that has hardly ever extended to anything beyond games over the years, that’s set to change soon. Amazon Prime’s Like a Dragon: Yakuza is set to premiere soon, and ahead of the limited series adaptation’s release, another new trailer has been showcased.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza will be split across two timelines – 1995 and 2005 – with the former seeing a young Kazuma Kiryu falling into the Japanese criminal underworld, and the latter seeing him released from prison after an extended period of incarceration.

Though the game’s core premise and its timelines hue closely to the game franchise’s first instalment, Amazon says the upcoming adaptation will tell stories “that games in the past have not been able to explore.” Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what it will have in store.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza is set to premiere on October 24, with its first three episodes dropping together, and the remaining three arriving at a weekly clip afterwards.
