The series' next outing – Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii – will launch for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in February.
The upcoming Amazon Prime adaptation of Yakuza will tell stories "that games in the past have not been able to explore", according to Amazon.
"We are middle-aged guys ourselves… so I guess that’s the kind of target audience we’re going for, probably," the series' developers say.
The live action series based on Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku's games will premiere on Prime Video on October 24.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has confirmed that its next major title will be revealed later this year at Tokyo Game Show.
The six-episode series will be released in two chunks of three episodes apiece, with Ryoma Takeuchi starring as Kazuma Kiryu.
The Minato Girls will have live-action and CG scenes, similar to the hostesses from Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
Each will reportedly see "new titles, remakes and remasters, DLC expansions and other media," including crossovers and collaborations yearly.
Details on what exactly the series' next instalment will be are currently scant, however.
"In order to develop Like a Dragon, the Dragon Engine is something that must never be lost," says technical director Yutaka Ita.
With Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth less than a month away from launch, RGG Studio has another major announcement lined up for this year.
Sega COO Shuji Utsumi talks about the success seen by the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, and what it could mean for its other franchises.
RGG Studio boss Masayoshi Yokoyama says that the series is no longer focused on the Yakuza, which is why its Western name has changed.
