Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio said it would open auditions for the next title in the series soon, and sure enough, applications are available for the “Minato Girls Audition.” The audition is for female performers to appear as the Minato Girls, with selected candidates appearing in live-action and CG scenes.

They’ll also participate in various activities to help promote the title before its release. Applications must be submitted by May 31st, 11:59 PM JST – those who pass will receive contact on June 14th. Auditions are only open to residents in Japan. The process is somewhat similar to past titles, including the recent Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which held auditions for performers to portray its Cabaret hostesses.

Though the developer has expressed interest in developing Like a Dragon Kiwami 3, there’s no timeline for the series’ latest title. Leaker Midori reported that Sega wanted to turn Like a Dragon into an annual franchise alongside Persona and Sonic the Hedgehog, though this includes “other media.” Head here for more details, and stay tuned for updates on the next game.
