A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Live-Action Trailer Highlights Immersive Danger

Just like in the movies, making any noise in Stormind Games' upcoming survival stealth horror can lead to a quick demise.

a quiet place the road ahead

Stormind Games’ A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is out next week, and to celebrate, a new live-action trailer is available. It showcases someone playing the game, only to suddenly become aware of a real Deathangel in their house. Unfortunately, the DualSense’s Haptic Feedback leads to their untimely death.

As bizarre as it may seem, the trailer reinforces the game’s premise. Set before the first movie, when the killer aliens first arrive on Earth, the story sees Alex Taylor and her loved ones attempting to survive. Since the Deathangels rely on sound, avoiding any noise is imperative.

Players have a device that tracks their noise level and carefully sneak around levels. Of course, there is a chase sequence where Alex uses a shotgun from the back of a moving van to shake off an alien, so expect a fair bit of action.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead launches on October 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our feature for more details.
