Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Adds Vikala on October 25th, Sandalphon Set for Early 2025

The divine rat debuts next week, bringing her chaotic and unique fighting style to close out the current Character Pass.

Cygames and Arc System Works have confirmed that Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising’s next DLC character, Vikala, will be available on October 25th. As the final fighter in Character Pass 1 (also available standalone for $7.99), she’s one of the Twelve Divine Generals and alternates between Yin and Yang. Check out her playstyle below.

As a divine rat, Vikala relies on rodents to throw and attack enemies. However, she also throws a large bear trap on a chain, summons cannons to fire at opponents, and even uses a sparkly rainbow as an anti-air. Meanwhile, her Super Skybound Art involves holding a concert. It’s over-the-top but also cheery and endearing in a way.

Though Vikala closes out the current pass, Character Pass 2 is also in the works. Its first fighter, Sandalphon, will be out in early 2025. Further details have yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is available for PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out our review for the base game here.
