With Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, and Grounded, Microsoft brought four first-party Xbox titles to competitor platforms this year, and is set to follow up with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle releasing for PS5 next Spring, not long after the game’s December release for PC and Xbox. And as many may have expected at this point, that isn’t going to be the extent of it.

Reports have claimed in the past that the company intends to bring the majority of its games to rival platforms, which is something that Microsoft itself has strongly hinted at as well. In a recently published annual letter for the shareholders, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella reiterated that, stating that the company will continue to release games for PlayStation and Nintendo platforms.

“We brought four of our fan-favorite titles to Nintendo Switch and Sony PlayStation for the first time, as we continue to extend our content to new platforms,” Nadella wrote.

From Starfield to Gears of Warthere’s been no shortage of first-party Xbox titles being rumoured for PS5 releases, while leaks have claimed that a rumoured remaster of Halo: Combat Evolved is also in development for Sony’s console.
