Dragon Age: The Veilguard has leveling systems in place for both your main character and your companions. With the level cap set to 50, and a single Skill Point earned each time Rook levels up, you will have your work cut out for you. While companions have a smaller skill tree, they earn 2 Skill Points per level up.

This Dragon Age: The Veilguard guide will detail how to level up both Rook and companions quickly and efficiently, in order to acquire those Skill Points.

Questing

As expected, progressing the main storyline will always grant major chunks of XP towards leveling up. But it’s not just main quests that you should focus on as you rush towards the ending, but also side quests, and faction quests. The latter has the added bonus of earning you Faction Strength which raises your reputation with a given faction, and in turn can be used to level up their faction merchant.

Farming Enemies

Killing enemies is another major source of XP, not just in quests but in the overworld as well. Do not shy away from combat encounters outside of the quest objectives, as these additionally provide opportunities to earn loot that can be sold to faction merchants in order to level them up as well.

Companion Quests

Aside from strengthening the bonds between Rook and companions, which can lead to potential for romance, these quests also greatly contribute towards their own leveling process, and open up opportunities for unique companion conversations.

Companion Dialogue Trees

As a heavily choice-based RPG, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has several special dialogue trees with companions that unlock based on those choices and award a fair bit of XP as well.

That is every way to level up Rook and companions fast to earn Skill Points in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
