Lords of the Fallen Update Adds PS5 Pro Support

Performance Mode runs at an upscaled 4K and 60 frames per second, while Quality Mode delivers native 4K/30 FPS on the Pro.

Lords of the Fallen

The latest update for Hexworks’ Lords of the Fallen is now live, and coinciding with Sony’s list of enhanced games for the PS5 Pro, it adds support for the upcoming console. The 2023 Souls-like action RPG features two modes on the base PS5 – Performance and Quality.

In a press release, the developer promised a “40 percent increase” in pixel density. It confirmed that Performance Mode runs at 60 FPS and renders at 1440p and outputs at an upscaled 4K on the PS5 Pro. Meanwhile, Quality Mode offers native 4K at 30 frames per second. Further details on improvements to visual fidelity and detail remain to be seen when the PS5 Pro launches on November 7th, so stay tuned for more.

Lords of the Fallen is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC – check out our review. It sold one million copies within the first ten days of launch, with publisher CI Interactive projecting $100 million net revenue from the title in the next few years. A sequel is also in the works, launching in 2026 with Epic Games publishing the PC version. Stay tuned for more details in the coming year.
