Marvel Rivals will be one of the year’s final major releases, and with its launch drawing closer, NetEase Games is continuing to reveal more details. The developer has, for instance, now also shed light on the full extent of content that the hero shooter will launch with early next month.
Upon its release, Marvel Rivals will feature 33 playable heroes, of which 27 have been officially revealed so far, which means there are still six more characters that the game will have upon release that haven’t yet been unveiled- though of course, leaks have spilled the beans on some of those (Wolverine being the most prominent one). Hawkeye was also recently teased. In addition, the shooter will also feature eight maps for Competitive and Quick Match modes, a practice range, and a Conquest map at launch.
NetEase Games has also revealed details on the game’s post-launch plans, including launching with Season 0, ushering in Season 1 in January, and beyond. Read more on that through here.
Marvel Rivals launches on December 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
