My First Gran Turismo

Announced back in September as part of PlayStation’s 30th anniversary, My First Gran Turismo launches on December 6th for PS4 and PS5. It will be free at midnight local time through the PlayStation Store. Check out the first gameplay trailer below.

My First Gran Turismo is about “embarking on a personal driving journey,” per Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi on the PlayStation Blog. As such, it includes a “full suite” of License Tests alongside three Race Events, Time Trials, and Music Rally levels. There are 18 cars to choose from, with iconic tracks like Trial Mountain Circuit, Kyoto Driving Park and Deep Forest Raceway available.

PlayStation VR2 support is also available for PS5, and you can unlock in-game Achievements or embark on Practice Runs to improve. It’s a pretty solid package overall, whether you’re a new player or someone who’s been on the fence about playing Gran Turismo 7.

The latter is also available for PS5 and PS4, having received extensive acclaim from critics and numerous content updates since launch. Check out the latest here.
