Kingdom Come Deliverance 2_02

If life in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 wasn’t strenuous enough, Warhorse Studios has released patch 1.2.4, which adds Hardcore Mode. When starting a Hardcore playthrough, players must choose three negative perks out of ten.

These are permanently active throughout and include debuffs such as a 20 percent decrease in Experience gain, less carrying capacity, and more noise while walking around. Somnambulant causes Henry to sleepwalk while Bashful turns off all map assistance. Combine the two, and Warhorse says you can wake up in a random location, and since there’s no fast travel or option to see your place on the map, hijinx ensue.

The patch includes other features and improvements, including rebalancing shop prices for herbs, a bald hairstyle for Henry, crash fixes, and more. Check out the full notes below.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Its next patch will add horse racing, with a release window yet to be announced. However, its first paid DLC, Brushes With Death, is scheduled for this Summer.
