Pearl Abyss is one of over 60 partners for today’s Summer Game Fest. You would think this means a new trailer for Crimson Desert, its upcoming open-world action RPG launching later this year. However, it seems that a release date could also be announced.

A now-pulled listing went live on Romanian retail site JocuriNoi, indicating a December 2nd launch with box art for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S versions (as spotted on Reddit). While this wouldn’t be enough on its own, there are also images and details for the physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.

The former includes a Deluxe package, a pin of Kliff (the protagonist), a developer letter, pre-order bonuses, and a textile map of Pywel, the game’s continent. The Collector’s Edition packs the same but with a SteelBook, gold star, a diorama of Kliff fighting a winged monster on a mountain, an Ultimate Bonus, a notebook with illustrations and an Alchemist’s Chest.

While the release date could be a placeholder, everything else is legitimate enough to suggest an announcement. Stay tuned for when the Summer Game Fest showcase kicks off at 2 PM PDT.
