Valve has kicked off the latest edition of its Steam Next Fest. The event, which was kicked off on June 9, will go on until June 16. Throughout the event, there will be several demos for a wide variety of games that players can try out. There’s also a trailer to go with the start of Steam Next Fest, which you can check out below.

As the trailer mentions, there are plenty of demos to try out, ranging from indie titles with games like Escape Simulator 2 by Pine Studios and Tiny Bookshop by Neoludic Games, to larger titles, like GFA Games’ Pioner and the upcoming PC version of Shift Up’s Stellar Blade.

“We host Next Fest three times a year (February, June, October) as a way to give developers from around the world a captive audience for their demos on games they haven’t released yet,” wrote Valve announcing the latest Steam Next Fest. “If you already have a bunch of genres that are your faves, feel free to search that way. BUT we also encourage you to try something new– check out the video player at the top of the main Next Fest hub for a new sprinkling of demos each day and perhaps discover your NEW favourite genre or theme!”

The start of the latest Steam Next Fest coincided with PC Gaming Show Summer Showcase 2025, which took place earlier this week. Throughout the event, several new titles were unveiled alongside demos that players could check out. A quick look at the Steam Next Fest page also reveals demos for several more titles, from Patapon spiritual successor Ratatan, to upcoming free-to-play football game UFL, and even unique sports games like Finger Soccer and Void Drift Wave.
