Adding to the already busy October release schedule is Q-Games’ Dreams of Another. The surreal action-adventure title launches on October 10th for PS5 and PC with support for PlayStation VR2 and PS5 Pro. Check out the latest trailer below, which posits some interesting questions on freedom and “free” a person really is.
Dreams of Another comprises two protagonists, The Man in Pajamas and The Wandering Soldier, as they venture into a dream world and interact with its characters. The biggest hook is that, despite having a gun, shooting actually creates the world rather than sowing destruction. It’s further enhanced by the unique aesthetic and soundtrack, both handled by Baiyon (who also directed PixelJunk Eden).
Those keen on playing Dreams of Another early can pre-order a bundle that includes PixelJunk Eden 2. Originally launched for the Nintendo Switch in December 2020, it’s also coming to PS5 and PC alongside PS4 on October 10th.
