Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 had a short but impactful presence at this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, with the reveal of its second story DLC. Legacy of the Forge is available on September 9th and sees Henry fulfilling his destiny, becoming a master blacksmith. Check out the first trailer below.
Starting in Kuttenberg, you’ll inherit a desiccated forge and set about improving it through blacksmithing. While restoring the forge and customizing it to your liking, players will eventually meet with “acquaintances” of Henry’s late father (and potentially learn more about his life). As you complete quests, more blueprints become available, and the Guild Rank increases.
Stay tuned for more details on Legacy of the Forge in the weeks leading up to its launch. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It received extensive acclaim since launching earlier this year, selling three million copies as of last May. For more details on the first story DLC, Brushes of Death, check out our review. The third and final DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, is out this Winter.
