Rogue Factor shared a new story trailer for Hell is Us during the Future Games Showcase. It sees Rémi interrogated by an unknown individual, and while the former seeks answers from his parents in Hadea, there are some discrepancies in his memories. Of course, the interrogator is unsympathetic and tells Rémi that he annoyed the wrong people.
This is yet another wrinkle in the overarching narrative, especially when considering the Calamity, the emergence of the Hollow Walkers, and whether his parents are still alive. Whatever the truth may be, players must learn the truth themselves, since Hell is Us offers no hand-holding. Even when exploring the world, you have nothing to rely on but your own wits and piecing together information from NPCs.
Hell is Us launches on September 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with Rogue Factor releasing a deep dive into the game’s dungeons. You can learn more about the title here or check out the latest demo on all platforms until August 28th.
