ARC Raiders

Even with all the hype surrounding Battlefield 6, the fun doesn’t stop for shooter fans as Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders is out later this month. Before that, a free server slam will be available on all platforms from October 17th to 19th.

Players can traverse the Dam Battlegrounds in the Rust Belt, completing some quests and experiencing the extraction shooter’s progression and crafting elements. Progress won’t carry to the full game (obviously), but you will get an exclusive backpack that’s usable in the same.

ARC Raiders launches on October 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The trailer below offers a notable peek at its gameplay, as players traverse the post-apocalyptic surface, looting supplies. They can work together or turn on each other, like other extraction shooters, but throughout, the ARC remain a consistent threat, especially if the massive walkers catch wind of you.

Unlike its competition, however, ARC Raiders is handling progression wipes differently, instead giving players the power. Head here for more details on the Expedition Project.
