Who called Ubisoft missing the bus on announcing its long-rumored Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced last year, especially after that PEGI rating? It’s apparently scheduled for launch by March 31st, 2026, but an announcement could be imminent. Twitter user @TheHiddenOneAC recently discovered a domain for the title, registered on December 12th, 2025.
And while there could be doubts about its legitimacy, they confirmed that GANDI SAS is responsible for the same. The registrar is seemingly responsible for registering domains for Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell and many more such Ubisoft IPs. Interestingly enough, it was created one day before the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake’s domain was established.
Perhaps there’s news coming soon for both titles, potentially at the next Xbox Developer_Direct (which has yet to receive an air date). Of course, Ubisoft could casually announce the same, especially since it’s avoided hosting its own showcases and attending shows like Summer Game Fest or The Game Awards.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is reportedly a sweeping remake of the 2013 classic, offering revamped visuals (including weather effects seen in Assassin’s Creed Shadows), no loading screens and fresh content. It’s also missing the modern-day sections, keeping the focus entirely on Edward Kenway and his exploits.
