Is he an Asgardian? Is he a Jotnar? Or is he something or someone else entirely? With Loki, the answer could change based on the circumstances he’s trying to navigate, and he brings every bit of his guile, intellect, and agility to the table in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
Thor’s adoptive brother isn’t afraid to wield his Tesseract-powered scepter to unleash the elements, use afterimages to confound hapless foes, or give them a good old-fashioned whipping with the darn thing. He’s got moves to deal with opponents at a distance, while getting up close and personal means you’re always in danger of hitting one of his afterimages and having him appear behind you for a devastating counterattack.
At range, he’s got a few options with walls of ice and tornadoes of fire to let loose alongside simpler projectile attacks you can use to punish foes who’re trying to get in close to start a combo, and perhaps even set off one of your own if you manage to control the space around you well enough.
In the right hands, Loki could be a fighter that’s very hard to stay ahead of once he gets some momentum going. The character guide below and the combos at the end of it should show you why that could be the case. This one’s as good as the one we got for Hulk a while ago!
