Battlefield 6 Season 4

That we knew it was coming doesn’t make us any less excited now that it’s actually almost here. Battlefield 6 has given us a fresh look at Wake Island, a franchise staple that’s appeared in multiple games.

However, it’s designed to be familiar yet fresh, with changes to allow players to take full advantage of everything that the game offers. That includes the naval warfare options that came with the latest season’s debut. Indeed, there’s even a shipwreck to investigate, and an aircraft carrier that you’re probably better served taking control of sooner rather than later. It’s probably a great place to try out the refined airplane controls coming with the new Top Gun update.

Battlefield 6 continues to add new content for us all to enjoy, and it’s all been good enough for the most part to justify the game being a top earner for EA last year. Wake Island is a great example of the developers pulling out all the stops to cater to fans, whether you’re contesting the shoreline or encountering enemy bunkers.

Of course, there are other “opportunities for destruction” that the accompanying announcement didn’t elaborate on, so you’ll have to try it first-hand. The trailer’s pretty interesting and is chaotic enough to get the adrenaline surging ahead of its August 18th launch.
